Accommodation Operations Manager

The Accommodation Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of their area of responsibility, which will include multiple areas such as guest accommodation, public areas, and venues within their designated area. They will lead their team in promoting the highest operational standards in resort cleanliness and accommodation cleanliness. This role will ensure that we are driving our Clean and Fault Free (CAFF) approach to our accommodation and holding team to account to ensure standards are met, working closely with the wider Guest Services & Accommodation Team to manage issues proactively that arise to ensure we can try and improve the experience for the guest. The role will support in setting clear goals and expectations whilst nurturing an environment that the team can perform at their best.
About YouWe are looking for an individual with a passion for driving excellent standards for our guests. An excellent level of operational knowledge in cleaning and leading cleaning teams is essential, as well as experience leading large teams in fast-paced environments. You should be motivated by high-paced environments and have the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments. This includes being able to lead and coach your team to remain motivated to deliver consistently high standards. You should have excellent health and safety knowledge within the cleaning remit and be confident in managing both permanent and temporary teams to deliver results. Payroll management is also a crucial part of the role to ensure we balance costs and manage guest demand effectively, so experience in managing payroll would be very advantageous. As with all roles at Butlin's, whilst your experience and skills are important to us, your mindset and approach are of equal interest.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of cleaning staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance in guest accommodation and public areas.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective cleaning practices.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance in all areas of the resort, including guest accommodation, public areas, and venues.
- Work closely with the wider Guest Services & Accommodation Team to manage issues proactively and ensure that guest expectations are met.
- Support in setting clear goals and expectations for the team and nurture an environment that encourages high performance.
- Manage payroll and ensure that costs are balanced and guest demand is effectively managed.
