About the Role

We're looking for a talented Activities Assistant to join our team at Charrington Manor, a luxurious care home in West Byfleet. As an Activities Assistant, you'll play a vital role in creating engaging experiences for our residents, fostering a positive and creative living environment.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference in people's lives, possess excellent communication skills, and have a keen interest in community groups and local events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Wellbeing Coach in planning and arranging wellbeing activities
  • Developing relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to understand their needs and preferences
  • Leading and inspiring the team to create a positive and creative living environment

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Prior experience in caring for people within a residential care setting or similar transferable skills
