Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

About the Role

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician at Amazon, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing technologies in our Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. Your focus will be on planned preventative maintenance, mitigating risks by proactively addressing and resolving issues, and raising the availability and quality of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize health & safety best practices in all work carried out, ensuring compliance with all health & safety standards and regulations.

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance on a full range of equipment within the site, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

• Respond quickly to breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.

• Collaborate with Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians to support and learn from their expertise.

• Manage contractors and ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Hold a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent (must hold Level 3 qualification with satisfactory Guided Learning Hours).

• Possess multi-skilled expertise in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.

• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.

• Proven experience in conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, sortation machines, print and apply machines, and fault finding on building equipment (HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing, and general building maintenance tasks).
