Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

Job Summary

Amazon is seeking a skilled Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network, you will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing technologies to ensure seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prioritize health and safety protocols to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment, including electrical and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians to share knowledge and best practices.
• Manage contractors and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Requirements

• Possess a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification (must hold Level 3 qualification with satisfactory Guided Learning Hours).
• Demonstrate expertise in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Proven experience in conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, sortation machines, print and apply machines, and fault finding on building equipment (HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing, and general building maintenance tasks).
