Flight Systems Engineer Role
We are seeking a skilled Flight Systems Engineer to join our team at RGS Global Careers. As a key member of our Flight Systems Engineering team, you will be responsible for producing and issuing systems engineering data to meet project requirements, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule adherence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and issue systems engineering data to meet project requirements
- Collaborate with other engineering and project areas to develop comprehensive solutions
- Perform tasks depending on the project lifecycle phase, including requirements development, system design, integration, qualification, and testing
- Write specifications, reports, and proposals
- Implement best practice systems lifecycle processes for new systems development
- Support delivered systems and resolve any issues with customers
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant STEM subject (e.g., Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering/Physics/Maths/Science)
- Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and experience applying systems engineering practices
- Demonstrated experience in Mechanical, Propulsion, Electrical, Avionics, or Fluid Systems Engineering, preferably within aerospace
- Ability to research system design data and solve complex problems
