We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Nursery Nurse and After School Club Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our children.
About the Role:This is a part-time position, working 27.5 hours per week, term time only. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our children, as well as supporting the After School Club program.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nurturing and engaging care to our children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Support the After School Club program, ensuring the children's safety and well-being during the after-school hours.
- Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and other staff members to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and well-being.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field.
- Experience of working in a similar setting, preferably in a nursery or after-school club environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A proactive and empathetic approach, with a commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for the children.
