About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Nurse and After School Club Assistant to join our team at St. Ignatius Catholic Primary School, part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working under the direction of the Class Teacher, the ideal candidate will be energetic, flexible, positive, and patient, with an ability to build strong working relationships with young people and their parents.
  • General duties will include collecting and supervising children throughout our After School Club sessions, and encouraging play, friendship, and social skills.
  • Dealing with parents at pick-up, organizing club registers and refreshments, clearing away after the session, and other associated duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a similar setting
  • Proactive and empathetic approach, aiming to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a wider team
