Nursery Nurse and After School Club Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Nursery Nurse and After School Club Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our children.
About the Role:This is a part-time position, working 27.5 hours per week, term time only. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our children, as well as supporting the Class Teacher in the delivery of the curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent care and education to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher to deliver the curriculum and support the children's learning.
- Supervise and engage children during After School Club sessions, promoting play, friendship, and social skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of their child's progress and well-being.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the values and ethos of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with children, has excellent communication skills, and is able to work effectively as part of a team. The successful candidate will have:
A Level 3 qualification in childcare or a related field.Experience of working in a similar setting, preferably in a nursery or after school club environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a desire to learn and grow in the role.What We Offer:We offer a competitive salary, excellent training and development opportunities, and a supportive and collaborative work environment.
