Vacancy: Venue Account Manager (AV services)

Location: Prestigious London Venue

Salary: £38,000-£45,000 subject to experience

Package: Up to £50,000 with commission and bonus

Aztec Event Services is a leading provider of technical production services to events of all sorts and sizes. We are seeking a skilled Venue Account Manager to join our team at our prestigious London venue.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in live events AV and a proven track record of selling AV solutions to event clients. They will be responsible for assisting the venue's events team with general AV advice and joining client show rounds to discuss and share ideas about technical solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clients with creative expertise, helping to develop concepts that enhance their events, then produce quotations and proposals for clients via the in-house events team.
  • Work with Aztec HQ to ensure that the correct resources are identified and booked for each event.
  • Assist with the production of technical briefs for events.
  • Enhance existing relationships with the venue's events team and other venue personnel.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a proactive self-starter with self-evident presentation and negotiation skills, capable of offering creative, comprehensive, client-centric solutions. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the corporate events industry and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Current experience working as live events AV Account Manager or Venue AV Manager.
  • Demonstrable track record selling AV solutions to event clients.
  • Previous experience as an event AV technician is essential.
  • Naturally pro-active instincts, with a hunger for sales.
  • Good understanding of the corporate events industry.
  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to prioritise.
  • First class interpersonal skills – especially with regard to meeting management and written communications.
  • Experience and familiarity with a CRM (would be helpful).
  • Very good IT skills including competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
