Resident Field Engineer

Join Crown Lift Trucks Ltd. as a skilled Resident Field Engineer, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our customers' equipment.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out service and repairs to equipment on customer sites, maintaining documentation in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures.
You will work to a planned schedule of service and maintenance jobs, monitoring van stock and ensuring it is sufficient for daily maintenance. Regular inspections will be conducted to monitor the safety of repaired and maintained trucks.
The role requires accurate completion of job sheets, timesheets, and purchase requisition and parts paperwork within the required timescales.
You will be responsible for all equipment and tooling, ensuring it is in a safe condition for the type of work being undertaken. You will work to strict planned schedules and deadlines.
Key skills and qualifications required include knowledge of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or hydraulics, as well as good communication skills, a high standard of accuracy, and attention to detail.
Additional desirable skills include recent experience working in the forklift truck service environment and an engineering qualification.
