We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Youth Services Coordinator. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with young people aged 10-18, providing high-quality support and guidance to help them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will be based at Aycliffe Centre in Durham, working within a secure children's home that provides specialist accommodation for vulnerable young people. As a keyworker, you will play a vital role in engaging, stimulating, and challenging the young people in your care, while maintaining a safe and stable environment.

About the Role

As a Youth Services Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as a keyworker for young people and providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals
  • Engaging, stimulating, and challenging the young people in your care, while maintaining a safe and stable environment
  • Administering medication where necessary, and maintaining accurate records
  • Writing reports and care planning documentation, using IT skills to record and track progress
  • Providing educational and physical activities to stimulate learning and development
