Haematological Malignancy Research Network

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced quantitative researcher to work on a Wellcome-funded project focusing on the impact of childhood adversity on anxiety.

The successful candidate will join our interdisciplinary research group in Population Health Sciences, Bristol Medical School, and contribute to the MRC Integrative Epidemiology Unit. You will work closely with project partners from multiple UK and international institutions and support patient and public involvement and engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct statistical analysis of data from prospective longitudinal cohort studies and large international biobanks
  • Write up results for academic and non-academic dissemination
  • Lead some analyses and papers as first author and contribute to others as part of a team science model
  • Provide methodological advice and training to project partners

Requirements:

A PhD (or working towards) or relevant professional/research experience in epidemiology, statistics, or a related quantitative discipline is essential. You should have advanced quantitative skills, experience of analysing large, complex epidemiological data sets, and excellent written and oral communication skills.

Additional Information:

Contract type: Full-time/ 1 FTE (part-time will be considered)

Salary: £42,632 to £47,874 per annum (pro rata if part-time), Grade:
