About the Role

This is a challenging position that requires a strong background in Utilities management, strategy, and digital innovation. As a Senior Utilities Consultant, you will work with our clients to help them shape and achieve their business agenda for a sustainable future.

You will lead the delivery of complex programmes and projects in a multi-vendor scenario and globally spread team, leveraging Agile principles and DevOps capabilities. You will also lead team interactions and workshops with clients, including conversations with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  2. Lead team interactions and workshops with clients, including conversations with senior stakeholders.
  3. Lead the team to solve unclear/ambiguous problem statements and complex technical issues.
  4. Engage with a number of stakeholders to enable large-scale organisational change or impact.
  5. Create a personal brand in focus areas of specialisation (e.g. industry/technology/functional domain) and provide thought leadership both within the organisation and to the client.
  6. Mentor and develop consultants within the Utilities practice.
  7. Take a key role in firm development and practice development, e.g. via innovation and learning activities.
  8. Support the leadership team on bids and pursuits.
  9. Build strong client relationships and help promote Infosys brand and offerings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 9+ years of Utilities-related experience.
  • Experience in consulting-type work connected to technology advisory or management/strategy consulting, or relevant experience from the Energy, Utilities and Renewables industries working with the digital agenda.
  • Experience within the Utilities industry value chain across Gas, Electricity and Water - Retail, Transmission and Distribution.
  • Experience of working on functional domains relevant to Utilities industry, such as CRM, EAM, FSM, ETRM, SCADA, GIS, Energy Management systems, Smart Metering etc.
  • Good understanding of emerging Utilities business models such as Solar, E-mobility, hydrogen, energy storage etc and dynamics of Utility adjacent industries.
  • Broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving etc.
  • Experience of designing, developing, and delivering projects through the full life cycle.
  • Experience of leading large transformation programmes.
  • Experience in gathering, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating business requirements and information for a range of audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and Agile ways of working.
Preferred Skills

Additionally, the following skills are preferred:

  • Master's degree with strong academic results in a relevant field or MBA (Tier 1) or Relevant accreditation for Utilities industry.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/PRINCE2 certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working.
  • Utilities industry knowledge.
  • Capital projects knowledge/experience.
  • Experience in business development.
