We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at PA Consulting. As a Cyber Transformation Specialist, you will help our clients in the Energy and Utilities sector design, develop, and deploy sophisticated and innovative solutions to protect themselves and critical infrastructures from cyber incidents.

The energy system is rapidly changing as we transition to Net Zero. This shift increases the susceptibility of the energy system to cyber attack. Our clients face an ever-increasing threat to their existing and future energy infrastructures. We bring a rich mix of insight and expertise to our clients' challenges by combining our knowledge and experience across energy, utilities, and wider critical national infrastructures.

As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will work closely with our clients to identify key requirements, challenges, opportunities, and aspirations for their organisations. You will take accountability for the delivery of technical cyber security engagements and lead multiple engagements on a day-to-day basis. You will also lead sales and business development initiatives in the Energy and Utilities sector and act as an integral part of the broader Digital Trust and Cyber Security leadership team.

We are looking for a trusted and respected leader with the ability to build and run a highly effective team that delivers client outcomes and develops the team and individuals. You will have experience and knowledge of the regulatory environment facing clients, with a particular focus on cyber security and privacy relevant regulations. Qualifications such as CISSP, CISM, and CIPP/E, GISCP, ISA 62443 (or equivalent) are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical cyber security engagements and lead multiple engagements on a day-to-day basis
  • Lead sales and business development initiatives in the Energy and Utilities sector
  • Build and manage excellent networks and client relationships across a range of organisations within the Energy and Utilities sector
  • Commercially aware and with industry relationships that will enable achievement of revenue in the region of £1.5+ million per year
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills at all levels up to Board level and strong network across Energy and Utilities leaders
