Academic Mentor in Social Work


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and qualified individual to join our team as a Graduate Teaching Associate in Social Work. As an Academic Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning within our School of Health and Social Care Professions.


Responsibilities


Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Tutorial class teaching and personal tutorial support to students
  • Providing feedback to students on their coursework and examinations
  • Assessment and marking of student work
  • Working towards a fee-waived PhD within the school in an area of your choosing

Salary and Benefits


The salary for this position is £32,000-£36,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a contributory pension scheme, life insurance, and access to a range of staff benefits.
