**Manufacturing Engineer Role**



Vickerstock is partnering with a leading manufacturing firm in the Dungannon area to recruit a Manufacturing Engineer. Our client is a successful local business with a 40-year history and hundreds of staff across two sites.



Key Responsibilities


  • To provide technical support to production, implementing and setting up new machinery and technologies.
  • Coordinate and implement the most efficient and cost-effective production methods for manufacturing major sub-components and final assembly of machines.
  • Offer technical support to purchasing in sourcing and developing sub-contract manufacturers.
  • Provide support to the design team during R&D phases of new product realization.
  • Carry out product testing prior to market launch to ensure all safety and quality requirements are met.


Requirements


  • A 3rd-level qualification in manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering department.
  • Experience with CAD/CAM.
  • A thorough understanding and demonstrable experience of Lean Manufacturing techniques and their introduction.
