Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contract Manager to join our industry-leading Energy team at Stantec. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading all contractual matters, including contract compliance, change management, cost reporting, and claim mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective contract management processes and procedures to control and manage contracts.
  • Challenge and negotiate claims and variations submitted by contractors and provide assessments of entitlement to the employer based on the contract.
  • Take ownership and proactively manage all commercial risks and mitigation on projects.
  • Assist project team members with queries regarding contract procedures, processes, and guidelines.
  • Administer consultants' and contractors' claims, including extensions of time.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in contract and commercial management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and procurement.
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts (Option A, C, and E).
  • Ability to lead on own projects and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
