Company Overview:


Chadwick Nott is a highly-regarded law firm with multiple offices in Bristol, seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to join their Risk & Compliance team.


About the Role:


This permanent and full-time position involves supporting strategic regulatory and compliance matters, monitoring risk trends, and ensuring the firm complies with all relevant regulations.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and internal policies
  • Ensure compliance with the SRA Standards & Regulations
  • Oversee the completion of file audits according to procedures
  • Maintain the firm's ongoing compliance with the Lexcel standard
  • Monitor complaints and provide support for final responses
  • Support the COLP in submitting complaints data to the SRA
  • Monitor negligence claims and collaborate with insurers
  • Provide cover for new starters and departmental training when required
  • Prepare data for quarterly risk meetings
  • Collaborate with the MLRO, Data Protection Officer, and COFA on various tasks

Requirements:


To be considered, you must have at least three years of experience working in a regulated environment within the compliance function. CILEX qualification is ideal.
