About the Opportunity

We have an exciting opening for a Compliance Assurance Officer to join our friendly and supportive Compliance department on a permanent basis in our newly refurbished, modern city centre offices located just a stone's throw from Bristol Temple Meads station.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful contribution to ensuring our business meets its regulatory obligations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading or assisting in compliance monitoring activities, scoping monitoring activity with relevant business areas, and carrying out monitoring activity in accordance with agreed scope.

In addition, you'll have the opportunity to assist in the ongoing improvement of the monitoring process, handle queries from the business, and provide them with assistance where appropriate.

About You

We are looking for candidates with knowledge of the regulatory environment including PRA, FCA, ICO. Ideally, you'll be able to demonstrate experience of report writing and monitoring/auditing, as well as excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to interact professionally with executives, managers, and subject matter experts of all levels.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential.
  • Compliance-related qualifications are desirable but not essential.
