Stock Management Director

Vertical Advantage is seeking a seasoned Sr Stock Management professional to lead our stock management team across multiple production sites. This role offers a unique blend of strategic oversight and hands-on problem-solving, making it ideal for a collaborative professional who thrives on detail and innovation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage stock movement across production sites and maintain safety stock levels.
- Develop and share material forecasts with suppliers.
- Oversee monthly stock recounts and reconciliations across production sites.
- Lead and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and co-packers.
- Lead and support the development of your team.
Requirements:
- Graduate calibre or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in a planning role within a fast-paced FMCG environment.
- Team management experience
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels.
- Proficient IT skills, with SAP knowledge being a plus.
What's On Offer:
- A competitive salary range of £55,000 - £62,000 per annum.
- A hybrid working model (2 days per week in the office).
