Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depot Manager to join our team at Brook Street. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the depot, ensuring the efficient and effective management of transportation and logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Transportation and Logistics Management: Manage the transportation and logistics operations of the depot, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
- Stock Control: Oversee the management of stock levels, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently.
- Team Management: Manage and support a team of operational staff, ensuring they have the necessary training and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Logistics Planning: Plan and coordinate logistics activities, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing and managing technology solutions to streamline operations.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of transportation and logistics management.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in transportation, logistics, or a related field.
