We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at GLG Vets in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. As part of our dynamic and collaborative environment, you will provide exceptional veterinary care to animals while working with a varied caseload. Our 24-hour emergency care provider offers opportunities for growth and development in general nursing duties, anaesthesia, radiology, ultrasonography, and hospital inpatient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on various animals, including conducting surgical procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Veterinary degree from a recognized institution.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in the UK.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Compassionate and caring approach to animals.
