About the Role:

As an Activities Worker, you will be responsible for delivering a range of engaging social and recreational activities, providing opportunities for residents to develop new skills and interests. This may include organizing outings, events, and activities that cater to different interests and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programs that promote social interaction, independence, and community engagement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver activities that meet the needs and interests of residents
  • Assist residents in accessing local community resources and services
  • Provide support and guidance to residents to help them develop new skills and interests
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture

Requirements:

  • No experience in activity work is required, but an artistic flair, great organizational skills, and interest in arranging social activities is a must
  • Previous experience of activities work or working with and supporting people with disabilities would be advantageous
