We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at Priory Hospital Dewsbury.
Job SummaryThe Activities Coordinator will be responsible for creating and coordinating enrichment activity programmes for our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver engaging activity programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure activities align with individual care plans and promote rehabilitation goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external providers to access resources and opportunities for residents.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activity programmes, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
- Experience in patient care and activity coordination, preferably in a mental health or dementia setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative activity programmes.
