About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team at Neville Court care home in Kendray, Barnsley. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in empowering individuals to live fulfilling and happy lives by organizing and leading meaningful and entertaining activities.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing individual activity plans based on people's unique goals and interests
  • Fostering community spirit through group activities
  • Supporting individuals to maintain their current and take up new hobbies, interests, and educational opportunities
  • Assisting individuals to become more involved in their local community
  • Celebrating national awareness days, holidays, and individual/collective achievements
  • Promoting choice, dignity, and independence
