About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Team Leader to join our Pensions Administration Team at Isio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our pension scheme clients, ensuring delivery of high-quality services and compliance with client Service Level Agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee and prioritize the allocation of incoming work, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Client Service: Take responsibility for all work to ensure delivery is of a high standard and in accordance with client Service Level Agreements.
  • Member Events: Process member events within deadlines, ensuring compliance with Isio's standards, scheme rules, and legislation.
  • Peer Review: Peer review and check work to ensure it is of a high standard and compliant with scheme rules and legislation.
  • Team Support: Provide support and share knowledge across the team, maintaining a culture that reflects Isio's values and puts the member at the heart of all activities.
  • Meetings and Presentations: Attend and present at both internal and external meetings, including Trustee and/or client meetings.
  • Technical Knowledge: Keep up to date with technical and scheme changes, particularly those that impact your portfolio of schemes.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Take responsibility for ad hoc projects, ensuring all deadlines are met and quality is of a high standard.
  • Non-Core Fee Projects: Identify non-core fee projects and ensure these are raised with the client in a timely manner.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, building relationships with others and promoting a positive and professional work environment.
Requirements
  • Experience: An experienced Deputy Team Leader or strong Senior Pensions Administrator with relevant experience and knowledge of delivering administration services to Defined Benefit pension schemes.
  • Customer Service: Excellent customer service focus, with the ability to assess client needs, build relationships, and manage expectations.
  • Communication: A great communicator, able to communicate with clients, members, and colleagues with impact and credibility.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management, with the ability to manage resources across multiple tasks and consistently deliver to deadlines.
  • Teamwork: A great team worker, with the ability to support and develop others, and an emerging role model within Isio.
  • Presentation and Reporting: Experience of presenting administration reports and communicating with clients/trustees.
  • Team Management: Experience of managing, mentoring, supervising, and developing teams.
