We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Team Leader to join our Pensions Administration Team at Isio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our pension scheme clients, ensuring delivery of high-quality services and compliance with client Service Level Agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management: Oversee and prioritize the allocation of all incoming work, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Service Delivery: Take responsibility for all work, ensuring it meets Isio's standards and client expectations.
  • Member Events: Process member events within deadlines, ensuring compliance with Isio's standards, scheme rules, and legislation.
  • Peer Review: Review and check work to ensure it meets high standards and is compliant with scheme rules and legislation.
  • Team Support: Provide support and share knowledge across the team, maintaining a culture that reflects Isio's values and puts the member at the heart of all activities.
  • Meetings and Presentations: Attend and present at internal and external meetings, including Trustee and client meetings.
  • Technical Updates: Stay up-to-date with technical and scheme changes, particularly those impacting your portfolio of schemes.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Take responsibility for ad hoc projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is high.
  • Client Communication: Identify non-core fee projects and ensure timely communication with clients.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership skills, building relationships with colleagues and clients.
Requirements
  • Experience: An experienced Deputy Team Leader or strong Senior Pensions Administrator with relevant experience and knowledge of delivering administration services to Defined Benefit pension schemes.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to assess client needs, build relationships, and manage expectations.
  • Communication: A great communicator, able to communicate with clients, members, and colleagues with impact and credibility.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage resources across multiple tasks and consistently deliver to deadlines.
  • Teamwork: A great team worker, with the ability to support and develop others.
  • Presentation Skills: Experience of presenting administration reports and communicating with clients/trustees.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience of managing, mentoring, supervising, and developing teams.
