Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

Allegiance Technology Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. As a leading construction company, we specialize in high-quality suspended ceilings and partitioning systems for commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately measure and estimate material costs, labour, and other project expenses for specialist ceiling and partition installations.
  • Prepare and submit detailed tenders for a range of commercial and industrial projects.
  • Manage subcontractor accounts, ensuring accurate valuations and payments are processed.
  • Identify and propose cost-saving solutions while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits to measure and evaluate works, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Provide accurate financial reports on project status, highlighting any issues or opportunities for improvement.
  • Assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, ideally with specific expertise in ceilings, partitions, and drylining.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and relevant regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • A valid UK driving licence, as occasional site visits will be required.
