Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team at Allegiance Technology Ltd. As a leading technology company, we specialize in innovative solutions for the construction industry. Key Responsibilities:

  • Estimation and Cost Management: Accurately measure and estimate material costs, labour, and other project expenses for construction projects.
  • Tendering and Contract Management: Prepare and submit detailed tenders for construction projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Subcontractor Management: Manage subcontractor accounts, ensuring accurate valuations and payments are processed in a timely manner.
  • Cost Control and Optimization: Identify and propose cost-saving solutions while maintaining the high-quality standards of our company.
  • Site Management: Conduct site visits to measure and evaluate works, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Client and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide accurate financial reports on project status, highlighting any issues or opportunities for improvement.
  • Risk Management: Assess project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry, ideally with specific expertise in ceilings, partitions, and drylining.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and relevant regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Education: Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field (degree or equivalent).
  • Other: A valid UK driving licence, as occasional site visits will be required.
