About the Role

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our civil engineering projects in the North of England. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and lead a team of engineers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Meeting and Communication: Chair and attend internal and external meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Procurement and Subcontracting: Procure materials and engage subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Site Management: Ensure site teams are compliant with commercial policies and procedures, and attend tender handover meetings and deliver pre-start meetings to the site team.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Produce and analyze progress reports, updated costs, and forecasts to inform project decisions.

Requirements

  • Education: A degree or certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
