Job Summary:

The Bellrock Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Build Engineer to join our team as a Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake all tasks in line with health and safety guidelines and legislation.
  • Ensure that planned maintenance activities are carried out on time and in line with the agreed schedule.
  • Carry out remedial mechanical and electrical repairs and minor installation work.
  • Perform reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance as required.
  • Assist with non-electrical and general maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate and escort subcontractors as required.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of post-apprenticeship working experience.
  • City & Guilds 2360 parts 1 & 2 in electrical installation.
  • City & Guilds 2391, certification in Inspection and Testing.
  • Knowledge of 18th edition wiring regulations.
  • Basic plumbing.
  • Previous working experience in a maintenance environment.
  • IOSH level of health and safety knowledge an advantage.
  • Operational knowledge of BMS, HVAC systems.
  • Additional knowledge of fire and detection systems, security systems, generators, UPS systems, gates and barriers, air compressors, and lifts will be an advantage.
  • Self-motivation and ability to manage time and priorities well.
  • Ability to participate in out-of-hours call-outs.
  • PC literate, use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Operational experience in the use of a CAFM system.
  • Operational knowledge of Permit to Work system.
