Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive inspections to accurately identify engine and mechanical/electrical problems
  • Service, maintain, and upgrade vehicle computer and electronic systems
  • Execute routine maintenance procedures to enhance vehicle efficiency and longevity
  • Guide vehicle owners on proper usage and arrange future maintenance appointments
  • Replace defective components, troubleshoot issues, and provide thorough repair assessments
  • Keep meticulous records of work performed and ensure all tools are well-maintained

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician
  • Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems of vehicles
  • Knowledge of vehicle diagnostic tools and systems
  • Ability to operate various tools and heavy machinery safely
  • Commitment to following safety guidelines
  • Good physical condition and a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification from a vocational institution or completion of an apprenticeship is preferred
  • Possession of valid certifications such as ASE is advantageous
