Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Insight Lead OTC to join our team. As a key member of our consumer insights team, you will be responsible for leading consumer research execution, with a focus on innovation. This includes catalyzing all insight and information needs for assigned research projects, briefing and selecting research agencies, and translating findings and insights into actionable conclusions and recommendations for our internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead consumer research projects executed by selected research agencies, reviewing questionnaires and research tools, and providing quality input together with internal stakeholders.
  • Translate findings and insights into actionable conclusions and recommendations for our internal stakeholders, allowing them to make informed business decisions for strategic planning or execution.
  • Support on insight strategy and planning, identifying insight needs and knowledge gaps with key stakeholders, and shaping the OTC consumer and shopper insight plan with appropriate research solutions and investment requirements.
  • Manage the insight A&P budget allocated for the consumer research projects in plan.
  • Be the voice of the consumer within the larger organization, driving a consumer-centric mindset beyond specific consumer studies.
  • Monitor consumer trends and consumer self-care market developments to keep the pulse on broader developments in business and society.
Requirements
  • Master's degree.
  • 5-10 years of experience in international consumer/shopper insight roles, in-company and/or research agency senior roles.
  • Experience in various research solutions, methodologies, and analytics, with strong affinity for/ expertise in innovation research.
  • Business acumen with knowledge of marketing and affinity for brands.
  • Passionate about how consumers feel, think, and make choices.
  • Entrepreneurial, leadership, persuasive communicator, analytical beyond the numbers.
  • Team player with an open and empathic attitude towards different cultures.
  • Strong ability to adapt to a changing environment, open to adopt new ways of working, fast and eager to learn.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and high level of autonomy.
