As Educational Director in the Education and Lifelong Learning Directorate, you will work with colleagues across the council to ensure improvements in outcomes for our children, young people and families.
The remit includes the responsibility for line management of a group of Head Teachers.
Key responsibilities include the continued development and design of the curriculum; the quality of learning and teaching; assessment and moderation.
You will have the opportunity to benefit from our flexible and agile working practices, which means you will work from home for part of your week and spend some time in council buildings to best suit your work, meetings and collaboration.
Grade/Salary:
LGE Terms & Conditions: £77,000 - £83,000 per annum. SNCT Terms & Conditions: £85,000 per annum.
This role involves working closely with the Care Inspectorate and Education Scotland.
