Job Opportunity: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Humanities Teacher to join our team at a reputable secondary school in North London. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History and RE to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans for History and RE, aligned with the National Curriculum.
  • Maintain a well-organized and professional classroom environment, with all necessary resources.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor student achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
  • Comply with school policies and procedures, and contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary schools.
  • Have recent experience teaching History and RE in a secondary school setting.
  • possess excellent classroom management and behavior management skills.
  • Hold a relevant degree in Humanities or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.
