Job Title: Humanities Teacher

A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a skilled Humanities Teacher to join our client school in North-West London. As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History and RE to students at KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in History and RE to students at KS3 and KS4.
  • Maintain a well-organised and professional classroom environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve departmental and school goals.
  • Comply with school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary school.
  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching RE and History at secondary school level.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • A relevant humanities-related degree is desirable.
  • SEND experience is also desirable.
