Job Title: Humanities Teacher

A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a skilled Humanities Teacher to join our client school in North-West London. As a Humanities Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching History and RE to students at KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in History and RE, catering to the needs of students at KS3 and KS4.
  • Maintain a well-organised and professional classroom environment, ensuring all necessary resources are available.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve academic excellence.
  • Comply with the school's policies and procedures, upholding the highest standards of teaching and learning.
Requirements:
  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary schools.
  • Have recent experience teaching RE and History at secondary school level.
  • Exhibit excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • A relevant humanities-related degree is desirable, as is experience working with students with SEND.
