Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS Neuro

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS Neuro to join our team at Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS Neuro, you will be responsible for providing treatment for families, children and adolescents with mental health issues and learning disabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat children and adolescents with mental health issues and learning disabilities.
  • Consult and collaborate with other agencies in the assessment and treatment of complex cases.
  • Meet and consult with other members of the team and members of the Children's Health Services.
  • Plan and co-ordinate mental health services for children, adolescents and families.
  • Prepare professional assessments and reports on children and young people known to you.

Requirements:

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Fully registered with the GMC with a license to practice at the time of appointment.
  • Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within 6 months.
  • Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
  • Holds and will use valid UK driving license OR provides evidence of proposed alternative.
