Senior Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join our team at Skilled Careers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in residential contracting and a proven track record of managing complex construction projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of large-scale residential developments, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of site managers, supervisors, and tradespeople to achieve project objectives.
  • Cost Management: Manage project budgets, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing strategies to maximise profitability.
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction projects, ensuring the smooth delivery of projects.
Suitable Candidate Profile
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Senior Site Manager.
  • Background: Residential contracting background.
  • Certifications: Valid CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid, Scaffold Inspection certifications.
  • Education: NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in a related field.
