Job Title: Apprentice Gas Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Apprentice Gas Engineer to join our team at K&T Heating Services Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Assessment and Safety: Conduct thorough risk assessments of work environments to ensure a safe working process, adhering to Health & Safety and The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998.
  2. Service and Repair: Perform servicing and repairs to heating and plumbing systems and appliances, aiming to achieve a 90% first-time fix rate.
  3. Van Stock Management: Manage and control allocated van stock, ensuring levels are maintained as necessary.
  4. Emergency Call-outs: Participate in the out-of-hours emergency call-out rota and follow established procedures.
  5. Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain the allocated company vehicle in a clean and tidy condition, wear the correct uniform, and dispose of waste according to company and HSE regulations.
Person Specification:
  1. Qualifications: Hold valid ACS/Gas qualifications.
  2. Driving Licence: Possess a full UK driving licence.
  3. Experience: Experience within social housing is desirable but not essential.
