HR Generalist

Laraveldaily is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team in Muir of Ord. This is a full-time role, initially on a 9-month temporary contract, with the potential to become a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities- Support the HR Manager in all HR matters, ensuring the smooth operation of both sites.
- Provide expert HR and training advice to internal managers, promoting best practice and compliance with employment legislation.
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring accurate interpretation and training for employees.
- Offer guidance on employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, long-term sickness absence, retirement, and redundancies.
- Maintain accurate records, including the Disciplinary Register, to inform monitoring and decision-making.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager on recruitment and selection activities, providing best practice advice and setting standards.
- Manage HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with ICS control procedures.
- Coordinate annual performance evaluations and objective setting, capturing and monitoring training requirements.
- Liaise with departmental managers to identify training needs, coordinating external training and development activities.
- Contribute to monthly HR metrics, including sickness absence reports, overtime analysis, training hours, headcount, and other HR KPIs.
- Proven experience in generalist operational HR support is essential.
- Knowledge of relevant HR policies, procedures, and best practices in employee relations.
- Ability to interpret, implement, and advise on HR policies, procedures, and practices.
- Familiarity with HR information systems, including data access, input, and reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SAP, and Q-Pulse systems.
- Good working knowledge of business operational requirements, including health, safety, environmental, and quality topics.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
