About the Role

Securitas Security Services is seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team. This exciting opportunity offers a challenging and rewarding career path with one of the most prestigious global clients in the industry.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid, current SIA license and have a strong commitment to engaging in and completing the thorough DV clearance process. Additionally, they must be able to work independently and part of a team, prioritizing workload effectively and demonstrating excellent communication skills.

This role requires a proactive attitude, punctuality, and reliability, with a willingness to work shifts covering days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays. In return, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits including company pension, life assurance, and mortgage advice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct external and internal security patrols and carry out routine tests of security equipment.
  • Maintain all logbooks and records, ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and conduct effective handover procedures.
  • Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards, and unsafe working practices to management.
Requirements:
  • A right to work in the UK and a five-year checkable history.
  • British Nationality and a UK residency of 10 years+ (due to the nature of clearance required for this site).
  • Possess excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English language.
  • Punctual, reliable, and able to work independently and part of a team.
