At Capgemini Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Specialist to join our Life Sciences Team. This exciting opportunity offers a chance to work on a range of projects, from single-person consultancy roles to large-scale software development projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within IT Departments, particularly in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries. They will also possess a solid understanding of LIMS and CDS basics, as well as Manual Testing and Qualification processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Incident resolution, including troubleshooting, physical checks of instruments, network issues, and data flow and storage issues.
  • User Administration, including user creation, access, and validity checks.
  • Installation, including coordination with vendors, interaction with network teams, and configuration of instruments with different applications.
  • Periodic reviews and maintenance, including support for client instrument owners, maintenance plan implementation, and firmware updates.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working within IT Departments, particularly in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries.
  • ITIL knowledge, including Incident, Change, Knowledge, and Problem Management.
  • Ability to work on client sites.
  • 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
  • Skilled in Manual Testing and Qualification processes.
  • Solid understanding of LIMS and CDS basics.
