Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement technical strategies for the antenna discipline, ensuring alignment with overall system performance.
  • Lead a team of engineers in the design, development, and testing of antenna systems, including radome and frequency selective components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility and integration of antenna systems with other system components.
  • Conduct technical assessments and modeling to optimize antenna system performance and ensure compliance with system requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a STEM subject, such as Physics, Mathematics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or System Engineering.
  • Proven experience in antenna design, development, and testing, with a strong understanding of RF systems and electromagnetic principles.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of engineers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with EM simulation tools, such as CST Microwave Studio or FEKO, and proficiency in programming languages, such as MATLAB.
Desirable Skills:
  • PhD in a relevant field, such as Antenna Design, Propagation, Electromagnetics, or Microwave Engineering.
  • Experience with direct line management of engineers, including conducting appraisals and managing personal development.
  • Working knowledge of antenna measurements and experience with standard microwave equipment, such as VNA and Spectrum Analyzer.
