Interior Design Associate Job in London

We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Associate to join our team at Hunter Dunning Limited in London. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading luxury projects from concept to completion, working closely with our directors and clients to deliver high-end interior design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design team to deliver high-calibre projects, ensuring timely and innovative solutions
  • Collaborate with directors to develop new business opportunities and client relationships
  • Develop and implement the stylistic direction of projects, ensuring consistency and excellence
  • Produce and oversee the production of design presentations, including bespoke luxury furniture and joinery design
  • Review and amend tender and shop drawings to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Lead the team's creation and execution of bespoke designs, ensuring exceptional quality and attention to detail
  • Ensure project deadlines are met, and projects are run in an organized and structured manner
  • Identify and mitigate risk factors, catching problems early to ensure project success
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in luxury interior design, including a minimum of 2 years on projects in London and international experience
  • Proven experience leading luxury projects across all stages, with a strong understanding of project delivery
  • Excellent eye for design, with the ability to lead the stylistic direction of projects
  • Extensive experience in bespoke luxury furniture and joinery design, with proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • ArchiCAD experience preferred, with knowledge of Sketch-Up and EstiPC a plus
