Job Title: Intermediate Designer

We are seeking an Intermediate Designer to join our London studio at IA Interior Architects. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for providing design support and contributing to the development of high-quality interior design projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior designers to develop design concepts and technical drawings
  • Work with the design team to research and select fixtures and finishes
  • Assist in the development of preliminary space plans and design solutions
  • Provide input on engineering drawings and ensure compliance with design solutions
  • Support senior staff in verifying site details and collecting information for client assessment
  • Compile pricing from manufacturers and representatives
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an architecture, interior architecture, or interior design program
  • 3-5 years of related work experience
  • Advanced Revit and Adobe Creative Suite skills
  • Detailed experience of concept design, construction documentation, and coordination with engineers
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Availability to work in the office at least 3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on corporate workplace and hospitality interior design projects
  • Experience working on projects in the UK and/or EU
  • Knowledge of building systems, codes, and accessibility requirements
