The Role


We are seeking an experienced Production Specialist to join our team in Filton, UK. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum effectiveness and efficiency in our wing assembly operations. Your primary focus will be on operating as a multi-skilled, flexible worker to support the delivery of high-quality products.


In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Team Leader and contribute to the success of our organization. You will be expected to carry out standard activities in full compliance with Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures, while maintaining your own and peers' safety.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Evaluating and endorsing operator initial category applications.
  • Completing conformity inspections for team worked activities where individual certification is not possible.
  • Ensuring all phases/operations are confirmed prior to release of parts from area/zone.
  • Conducting First Article Inspections where applicable.
  • Updating customer protection boards and reporting product or process deviations.
  • Supporting dispositioning of process and product deviations.
  • Providing technical expertise to resolve Quality concerns within your zone.
  • Assisting the Team Leader in managing workload and performing duties as required.

What You'll Bring


To be successful in this role, you will need to have held a self-certification A Stamp for a minimum of 6 months and successfully completed an apprenticeship or equivalent qualification. Ideally, you will also have quality inspection experience and IT literacy with proficiency in MS packages, including Excel.


You should be a self-motivated team player with the ability to work on your own initiative and maintain a keen eye for detail.
