About the Role
GKN Aerospace is seeking a skilled Primary Operative to join our team in the design and manufacture of large complex structural wing assemblies. As a Primary Operative, you will be responsible for carrying out standard activities in compliance with Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate as a multi-skilled, flexible worker to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
- Carry out standard activities in compliance with Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Work closely with the Team Leader to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Provide support to the Team Leader regarding technical expertise within the process.
- Assist in managing workload and resolving Quality concerns within the zone.
Requirements
- Have held a self-certification A Stamp for a minimum of 6 months.
- Have successfully completed an apprenticeship, equivalent qualification or NVQ Level 3.
- Be IT literate with experience using MS packages, including Excel.
