Exhibition Chef

We are seeking an experienced Exhibition Chef to join our team at The NEC Group. In this role, you will be responsible for the production and delivery of food services for various events and exhibitions.

As an Exhibition Chef, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all food requirements are met, while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation. You will work closely with our Senior Head Chefs and Head Chefs to understand event requirements and develop menus that meet client needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position, with a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing their workload effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and implementing food production plans to meet event requirements
  2. Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and policies
  3. Monitoring performance of subordinates and providing timely feedback
  4. Managing waste control and implementing cost-effective solutions
  5. Delivering menu items to the required specification and standard

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
