We are currently looking for full time/part-time Kitchen Assistants to join our amazing Jamaya Family.

**Job Requirements: THE PERSON**
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic food hygiene and kitchen training records
- The ability to work at speed and multi-task
- Able to take instruction and deliver results
- Follow all health and safety/ fire safety procedures at all times
- Operate kitchen equipment safely
- Excellent hygiene standards
- Able to display patience whilst working in a pressured environment
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Flexible attitude towards working hours and shift patterns
- Organised time management skills
- Exhibits pride in our brand and everything we stand for
- Smart and clean appearance
- Prefered experience of Jamaican cuisine but not essential as training will be provided

**Job Requirements: THE JOB**
- Follow instruction accurately given by Management
- The organisation of all food products such as labelling and stock control
- Undertake cooking duties and to undertake prep in collaboration with a larger kitchen team.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces etc
- Working at a fast pace to ensure orders are out in a timely manner
- Multi-tasking between different departments to ensure the efficient running of the business
- Ensure the quality of food remains at a high level of consistency

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £9.50-£11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Tips

**Experience**:

- Chef: 3 years (preferred)
- Catering: 2 years (required)
- Kitchen environment: 3 years (required)
